Well. Title says it all really. I can't get past the log-in screen - 'unable to connect' msg - and when I try to access My Account nothing at all happens, or the server is unavailable. Someone must know where I go from here. I don't think my account has lapsed as I'm pretty sure that I signed up for longer than this - but I can't even check it out?!
If this goes on for another day or two I think I will, regretfully, be contacting my credit card company. Anyone help?

Ha ha I just thought, I've never had one reply yet on these forums to ANYTHING I've posted, so I guess it's possible I'm actually invisible to y'all. So there's no one reading this. So I can run around naked for all it matters.
I sent a question to the Support section about all of this but withtheir workload I doubt I'll get a reply 'within one business day'. I work in a similar industry myself (including replying to emails of complaint), and so I'm not holding my breath. The crazy thing is that I can't access the My Account section, which ought to be pretty important to keep freely accessible, you would think...?
So the only way I may have to cancel my account will be to contact my credit card company. No one answers my posts on the forums, I can't access my account details, and the overworked support team will probably read my question, oh, next Tuesday if I'm lucky. Thing is: I can't wait that long. I have several other ongoing interests and cannot afford to waste time on EVE if it's been, um, 'nerfed' for me.
And more gallingly, I have (or had) no gameplay or technical issues with the game, Exodus and all, when I could log in.
Go on. Assure me I'm not invisible, someone, please.

Just tried to log into EVE for the 40th time tonight. No go. It looks bleak - but life itself is bleak. So why expect something as relatively inconsequential as a game to be anything other than bleak?
It is always the same: I find EVE to be the same as all my relationships. With women, that is. (I should rename myself ADAM.) Several weeks' of happy exploration and familiarisation and anticipation of ever-greater happiness to come, then - KABOOM.
And I was at such a critical point as well - and I really NEEDED to play the game tonight. I had just joined a corp, and was on the verge of getting a cruiser, and was chatting more to corp-mates (I'm a loner by inclination and only joined because the impediments for the solitary player are so vast).
And now this! This!

I deleted Castor and fresh-installed Exodus and I swear until after 00:00 GMT today all was smooth. I mean it, I had little or no probs. So the fact that it was after 00:00 GMT that the probs started kind of made me think it's all account-related.
If I uninstall and reinstall Exodus from my backup CD, how will things change? And not being able to access 'My Account' strikes me as a little sinister.

okay.. all of us have been having issues and at least you didn't log in just to quickly lose a BS...
If it does not log in.. try the dev server just to make sure you indeed can log in and that your connection is good.. (this is what I do.. hell, the dev server is about 1000% more stable right now than tranq..
It is really frustrating to everyone...
I had worked on getting things ready for this patch and all the new stuff and have had nothing but problems logging in and having it drop and getting stuck in gates and.. and... and...
Had a friend excited about getting in the game and he tried it out yesterday evening and promptly deleted eve and went and bought WoW..
anyway.. hopefully within a couple days..

Well, I seem to have the same issue. I uninstalled the game then re-downloaded it and it worked. I re-booted and same problem. I have yet to hear form ccp in last two days about the issue and am alittle frustrated as I pay for several accounts and run a corp/ I had planned on mass purchasing some materials at up time on release but was unable to get in after the 14 hour initial donwload of the patch... This is becomeing more and more of a chore to be a part of and makes you wonder why we bother.....

I removed the installer and the game once again re-downloaded it and it worked... I have not logged back out of it yet as I am afraid it wont work for another day and I will lose yet another day of my vacation that I want to spend gamining not talking to family as the irritate me... Get a response out ccp were paying you for something and it isnt to be gameless....

Ok first of all this isnt an fixer to the problem, but it might help you to logg in and play, until CCP gets this problem resolved.
What i do is i get this sub program called EveDudePlus in it i have the option to clear out the catche files more importantly the ingame settings by doing this you will be going to the law sheet like you do when you first run the game after you installed it. Accept it and it should goto to username and password prompt. Remember this dosent fix the problem and it will do the same as it did before, just clear out the catche before playing agian. The progam was at the website Linkage
