The servers appear to be down tonight. Is anyone else having issues? Updated the app on my iPhone earlier today and went to play music tonight. But every content section on the homepage says “Unable to load content” and where the graphics are supposed to be for services, favorites, stations, etc. are all black boxes with black linesscrolling across. Thought it was the update but checked on my iPad without the update and same issue. Was only able to play music in the room where music had been playing previously by pressing the play button. None of the other rooms had content queued up so can’t select from any sources. Sonos seems to be having a lot of issues of late.

Here I am ready to go to sleep, trying to set and check alarms, and nothing is available, I see “Unable to load content” everywhere. I can’t see the services I have subscribed to, can’t make anything work.

Sonos, are you telling me not to use Sonos alarms and just go set my alarm on my iPhone, which works quite reliably?

This is not a free product, it is an expensive set of hardware and software, and I expect you to make good on the implied commitment you made when I spent thousands of dollars on my systems.

Sonos, please get your act together!

Add mine to the list. No content services showing in the app, unable to play anything whatsoever. Content services tab in user profile menu is bare, not a single service shown. Have logged out and back into app, nothing.

Interestingly, the desktop controller does show my connected services. So once again, it’s the app that is failing us.

Also having issues. Restarted devices. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app. They took a fantastic product and have made it worthless with the app changes. It’s pretty shocking.

Same problem here with the latest app update (80.03.07) on iOS.

My current workaround is to use the old Sonos App from my Mac. So, I suspect that the problem is in the iOS App and not server side.

I tried removing and reinstalling the iOS app, but that didn’t solve the problem.

A general question for either Sonos or the community: Was this iOS app developed by high school interns? It has been totally disappointing since the release. I mean, you release a new app without alarms? And then you plug them in way down inside system management menus instead of making them easy to use? And now — late night Monday June 24, 2024 — nothing works at all?

Same problem for me, I was using Sonos earlier today, now after updates, I get “Unable to load Content” and have no Connected Serviceson my iPhone build 80.03.07 with this Jun 24th update.

I do see Services on my desktop app.

I logged out and back in on iPhone several times but still get Unable to load Content errors.

Yep, unable to load content on the iPhone app. Does Sonos have a QA team that tests builds before they are released? It doesn’t appear so.

First true issue I’ve hit since this whole fiasco started. Played music everywhere all day, up to about an hour ago, and now “Unable to load content.”

Ditto to all above.

I even went as far as resetting and updating firmware on my router in case that was the issue.


These last few “updates” to the app have been nothing short of complete and total bull 💩!

Same here. Working this morning, running current firmware. Noticed speaker update was available. After 5 failedupdate attempts it finally worked after unplugging 2/14 devices. Go figure!
Now “no content” blank screen. Deleted app and downloaded again. Logged on to account and guess what. Nothing again. Sonos indicate no outage. You’re losing me Sonos!

I thought it was just me. Updated the app, it worked for like 2 seconds and then went to unable to load services recent, etc. I removed my wifi network and reconnected because when i signed out and back in, it said i had MULTIPLE SYSTEMS? SERIOUSLY. Now I only have one and cannot access my stuff. Thank GOD i kept the old sonos pc app . I am able to access everything from there, but the new app SUCKS. This CEO needs to be FIRED. This is complete BS

I was actually able to access my music library and play music from my pc for about 5 minutes and then everything disappeard except my currently playing playlist. I am CERTAIN they took the system down. Probably overloaded their piece of crap server.

Same issue… new app is awful. It worked flawlessly too long I guess, had the screw around with it. Sonos figure it out!!

I updated my system and can only play the loaded playlist. All my services have disappeared so can’t chose any other. I restarted the Sonos app but it did not help.
I wonder when it will be back…

Same thing here (iOS and iPadOS). Last night everything was working fine. Waking up this morning and nothing is working "unable to load content". Is it the update from yesterday? Really pissed with all problems since that new app upgrade or should I say downgrade…Some people should get fired...
